Medical Image Enhancement Techniques

Computed tomography (CT) is used to diagnose diseases and tumors. A special dye called contrast material in CT scans assist emphasize the parts of body being examined. Therefore, an enhancement technique improve images' degradation needed. This paper aims present a method enhance quality Ct-Scan images based on discrete wavelets transform Retinex algorithm. The proposed methods are algorithm parameters or Dark Channel Prior parameters, according output image from preprocessing steps increase lightness degree image, remove possible noise contrast. results experiments enhanced outputted model compared with one method. Hence, DCP higher rate reasonable removal-based measures, which were SI, MSE, IQI, SNR, but was very attentive percentage values IQI SI. So WT recorded as highest enhancement.
